Welcome
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 12th International Congress of Clinical and Health Psychology in Children and Adolescents, which will take place in the city of Granada, a place where history, knowledge, and the meeting of cultures intertwine in a unique way.
Over the years, our congress has become an internationally recognized forum for researchers, professionals, and students committed to advancing clinical and health psychology in childhood and adolescence. Each year we renew a shared purpose: to exchange scientific knowledge, discuss current challenges, and continue developing evidence-based approaches to improve the psychological well-being of children and adolescents.
This year’s program brings together leading researchers and professionals who will present recent advances, new perspectives, and innovative approaches to the assessment, prevention, and treatment of psychological difficulties during these stages of development. Beyond the scientific program, however, the congress also aims to provide a space for dialogue, the exchange of ideas, and the opportunity to foster new collaborations that will continue to grow beyond these days of meeting.
Holding this edition in Granada, a city with a long-standing university tradition and a symbol of cultural coexistence, gives special meaning to our congress. The presence of the Alhambra, a walk through the historic Albaicín district, the vibrant character of its historic neighborhoods, and the welcoming atmosphere of its streets make the city an inspiring setting for both scientific exchange and human connection.
We hope that these days will allow us to learn, debate, share experiences, and strengthen the scientific community working to better understand and promote the mental health of children and adolescents.
Thank you for joining us once again. We look forward to welcoming you to Granada.
MIREIA ORGILÉS AMORÓS
The Scientific Committee’s President.
